With over 40 years of expertise in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, and public health, Dr. O’Neall Parris has made significant contributions across various healthcare settings.

A Yale University graduate, Dr. Parris earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University School of Public Health, focusing on Population and Family Health. He is board-certified in Pediatrics .

Up until April 2024, he practiced medicine in Lake Success, NY, while actively engaging as an Attending Staff member at Cohen Children Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital, affiliated with Northwell Health.

His consulting work has involved collaboration with prestigious organizations such as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and the Commonwealth Fund.

Dr. Parris is a passionate advocate for healthcare improvement and community development. He currently chairs the Barbados Diaspora Collaborative USA (BDC USA), Inc., a non-profit organization aimed at supporting initiatives in Barbados, and leads the Barbados Association for Cancer Advocacy (BACA Barbados), which advocates for establishing the first freestanding hospice in the region.

His extensive experience and leadership continue to shape the healthcare landscape both locally and internationally.
